Steel, Iron & Custom Entry Doors in Texas
Not every grand entry needs to pivot. Steel and iron doors on heavy-duty hinges deliver the same drama in double, French, arched and single configurations — and they are a natural fit for Mediterranean, Spanish, Tuscan, farmhouse and transitional Texas homes as well as modern ones.
We build entry systems complete with sidelites, transoms and matching windows, finished to resist Texas humidity and sun.

See the collectionHumidity and sun are the enemies of metal doors. We favor galvanized or zinc-treated steel, quality powder coatings and thermally broken frames to fight rust, heat transfer and condensation — essential from Houston to the Hill Country.

Modern 'iron doors' are usually steel with a forged or wrought-iron style. Steel doors lean clean and modern with thin profiles; iron-style doors add scrollwork and operable glass panels. Both can be thermally broken and insulated.
A properly galvanized, primed and powder-coated steel door resists rust very well. Routine cleaning and touch-ups keep it looking new, even near the coast.
Thermally broken steel frames with dual- or triple-pane Low-E glass perform far better than older non-broken steel doors and help keep Texas heat outside.
