Sliding, Multi-Slide & Lift-and-Slide Doors in a luxury Texas home

Walls of glass that move

Sliding, Multi-Slide & Lift-and-Slide Glass Doors

Huge glass panels that glide aside — stacking, pocketing into the wall or turning the corner — for a view that stays wide open even when the doors are closed.

Sliding, Multi-Slide & Lift-and-Slide Doors in Texas

What you need to know

Sliding glass walls give you the largest panels of uninterrupted glass. Multi-slide doors stack panels behind one another; pocketing doors disappear into the wall; lift-and-slide hardware raises heavy panels off their seals so even oversized glass moves with one hand.

From a simple two-panel patio slider to a motorized minimal-frame corner that opens two walls at once, we size the system to your opening and your lifestyle.

Built for Texas

Big glass means big solar heat. We spec Low-E coatings with a low solar heat gain coefficient for south and west exposures, recommend overhangs for flush sills, and provide impact-rated systems where wind and debris codes apply.

Sliding, Multi-Slide & Lift-and-Slide Doors FAQ

What is a lift-and-slide door?

A lift-and-slide door uses a handle that lifts the heavy panel slightly off its seals so it rolls easily, then lowers it back to compress the seals when closed. The result is large, airtight panels that still glide with one hand.

Multi-slide vs. pocket door — what is the difference?

A multi-slide (stacking) door stacks panels in front of each other inside the frame. A pocketing door slides panels into a pocket built into the wall so they disappear completely.

How big can sliding glass panels be?

Panel size depends on the system and glass weight. Longhorn Robust and Texas Special systems handle very large, tall panels; we confirm limits for your exact opening.

Can sliding doors be motorized?

Yes. Motorized operation is available for many large systems and can tie into home automation.
